A family in crisis can face many needs – food, clothing shelter, medical care, counseling, and more. Your gift to United Way supports a wide range of community programs. United Way agencies work together, providing a network of services to help resolve challenges when times are hard.

Making a generous personal gift to United Way sets a powerful example. The Leadership Giving Association ( LGA) of our local United Way recognizes major contributors and highlights the example these individuals play in the fulfillment of the United Way mission.

LGA Levels:

Zackquill Morgan Society – gifts of $1,000 and greater

United Way Founders Society – gifts of $500 to $999

LGA members are recognized for gifts pledged to United Way or “guaranteed gift” designations to our network of agencies.

The strength of a legacy…

Many United Way donors support important community programs their entire lives.  Through planned giving, the values and priorities of an entire lifetime can be put into action for future generations.

To maximize the efficiency of managing a planned giving program, United Way has established an endowment fund with the Greater Morgantown Community Trust, GMCT, called the Future Fund.  The fund is a vehicle for you to support health and human services through a variety of giving options.
